OBJECTIVES

Why exhibit:
As countries across Asia experience strong economic growth in recent years, enormous pressure is put on its transport, housing & industrial capacity, energy, water/sewerage, waste management and communications infrastructure. As such, infrastructure development is now a priority for countries to ensure continued development, improve competitiveness and reduce poverty in the rural communities.

Sarawak is an ideal venue for this international event as the State Government has embarked upon many infrastructure development projects which will transform the economy and the catalyst for its modernization program in the digital age. This will generate a massive demand for construction equipment, road building machinery, lighting, signages, bridge building technology, surveying and fencing, security, consultancy services among others. It will also support the Government’s initiative on the Sarawak Corridor on Renewable Energy which will transform its economy into a developed State by 2020. Over RM300 billion worth of potential investments is expected under this initiative up till 2030.
