Registration is closed.

22nd February, Wednesday
12:00pm to 6:00pm

Mandalay City Hall, Mandalay, Myanmar

The inaugural BuildTech Mandalay 2017 is a trade exhibition platform serving the construction development of Mandalay with a focus on infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings, transportation, manufacturing and trading.

Recent statistics published by Myanmar’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration revealed that foreign direct investments (FDI) in the country reached US$52,841.394 million as of 31 December 2014; the country’s real estate sector received US$1,338.693 million worth of investments and is one of the most promising areas for growth due to the short-term and long-term demand for modern infrastructure.

With the Myanmar construction industry currently valued at close to US$3bn and is expecting to achieve an 8% CAGR and a total of 46% growth over the next 5 years to US$4.2bn in 2016, opportunities are aplenty for the industry driven by the large number of both upcoming public and private sector projects. With Mandalay being Myanmar’s second largest city and its logistic hub, Mandalay will offer opportunities for companies looking to establish export-oriented manufacturing trading activities with China & India as well. In addition, with several infrastructural and construction projects expected in the pipeline, the city of Mandalay offers excellent opportunities to companies in the building & construction industry.

Leverage on this key opportunity by exhibiting at this much anticipated trade exhibition for the industry by the industry.
