SYNOPSIS

Located towards the north of China eastern seaboard, Shandong is strategically bordered by the Bohai Sea and the Huanghai Sea, and faces the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese Archipelago across the sea.

Traditionally known as the birth place of Confucianism and Mencius, Shandong is currently the 3rd largest province in China by GDP and population size (about 96 million). The province, with its 17 prefecture-level cities and 139 counties, offers immense business opportunities in a myriad of industries, from urban development, marine, agriculture, food, ports, shipping & shipbuilding, renewable & environmental services to education and healthcare services.
