RehabTech Asia 2013, Asia’s first and only trade event for the assistive technology, integrated care and rehabilitation engineering industry recently opened its doors on the 27th of February, 2013 at Singapore’s Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Occupying more than 10,000 sqm of exhibition space, RehabTech Asia 2013 saw the convergence of more than 65 exhibitors and industry leaders in the field of assistive technology and rehabilitation equipment. Held at Hall 3 of the Singapore Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre, RehabTech Asia 2013 attracted more than 65 exhibitors from all over the world.

RehabTech Asia 2013 comes at a time where there is growing interest in self-determined living and long-term healthcare. “As a result of Singapore’s ageing population, the demand for healthcare service is expected to grow at an accelerated rate. A whole spectrum of healthcare services including integrated healthcare services, hospital management, laboratory services, healthcare consulting and other healthcare related services will be in demand by consumers,” commented Mr. Lam Joon Khoi, Secretary-General of SMF.
