Ethiopia Ambassador Extraordinary visits SMF President

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, His Excellency Admasu Tsegaye, paid a courtesy visit to Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF)

05 Jan 2018 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, His Excellency Admasu Tsegaye, paid a courtesy visit to Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). His visit aimed to learn more about the Federation as well as the manufacturing sector in Singapore.

His Excellency was received by SMF President, Mr Douglas Foo, with whom he shared much on the potential of Ethiopia as an investment destination for Singapore companies.

Trade between Africa and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has grown tremendously over the past two decades exceeding S$40 billion and this trend is still expected to dramatically increase in the next 5 years. Over 300 ASEAN companies operate in Africa, of which Singapore is ASEAN’s largest investor in Africa.
