Seminar on the Vision & Strategy for Future Mobility: Korea and Singapore

The SMF and the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association (KAMA) co-organised the Vision & Strategy for Future Mobility: Korea and Singapore Seminar on 12 October 2023! Graced by the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Singapore His Excellency Hoon Choi, the seminar provided a platform for thought leaders to discuss the nuances of future mobility.

The seminar featured a gamut of presentations from esteemed organisations including Enterprise Singapore, H2 Korea, Singapore Business Federation, Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), UOB and more. A spotlight was cast on sustainable solutions, such as electric vehicles, hydrogen power, and EV battery recycling.

During the seminar, SMF President Mr Lennon Tan and KAMA President Mr Nam Hoon Kang delivered their opening remarks where they shared the potential of collaborations between Korea and Singapore on future mobility.

A panel discussion moderated by SMF EXCO Member Mr Vincent Wong on the topic of "Case review of supportive policies on future mobility in major countries and its implications for Singapore" saw insightful contributions, such as from SMF CEO Mr Dennis Mark, who was one of the panellists.

This collaboration underscored the shared commitment between Korea and Singapore towards a sustainable, mobile future. The SMF looks forward to more collaborative opportunities with KAMA!
