A Merry December to Remember at TGIF@SMF with RHB
It was the last TGIF@SMF with RHB of the year and members had a jolly good time celebrating Christmas with the SMF!
To kickstart the event, which was held on 6 December 2019, SMF Secretary-General Dr Ahmad Magad, delivered his welcome address to welcome all who came for the event. SMF Assistant Secretary-General Dr Michael Teng then presented on the topic of “Learning to share about the digitisation and digitalisation of I4.0.” Through his presentation, he demystified many misconceptions of I4.0 and explained how companies can exploit and explore the many business models that can be generated from I4. 0.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation by Mr Shekhar Jaiswal, Head of Equity Research of RHB Research Institute from RHB Bank Singapore, who gave the audience a peek into the Market Outlook 2020.

After the presentations, members were treated to a spread of festive buffet and free-flow beer. The members were also treated to some delicious Korean Ice Bingsu that comes in unique flavours from ‘Icy Treats’. There were also networking games such as ‘Broken Telephone’ where members could walk away with prizes and Christmas lucky draw to be won. Everyone surely ended the day with a merry December to remember!
