In conjunction with the celebration of the 49th Proclamation Day of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste, Singapore Manufacturing Federation, together with TradeInvest Timor-Leste and Investment Office and the Embassy of Timor Leste in Singapore had the honour of hosting the Timor Leste Trade and Investment Forum.

✔️ The signing of a goodwill MOU between SMF and the Timor-Leste Chamber of Commerce and Industry to foster partnerships in sustainability, globalisation, and human capital development.
✔️ Celebrating Timor-Leste’s ASEAN accession and exploring opportunities for Singaporean businesses.
✔️ Helder Lopes, Governor of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste, shared insights on the nation’s macroeconomic outlook and financial sector development.
✔️ Antonio da Silva, Director General of Tourism, discussed strategies and trends shaping Timor-Leste’s tourism sector.
✔️ Arcanjo Silva, Executive Director of TradeInvest Timor-Leste, highlighted the country’s investment potential.
✔️ A panel on agribusiness and manufacturing, moderated by David Freedman (IFC - International Finance Corporation), featured Prasantha Manjuka (Heineken Timor-Leste) and Sarah Green (Caltech Group).
✔️ Another panel on Timor-Leste as an emerging destination, moderated by Melvin Tan (Singapore Manufacturing Federation), included Jorge Serrano (GMN Group) and Alan Jape (Jape International Group).
